Elizabeth Is Missing
by Emma Healy

The protagonist in this novel is trying to solve the mystery of where her friend Elizabeth went: however, the protagonist has dementia and everyday she forgets the clues. As a daughter of a family member with dementia, I was concerned the lightheartedness of Ms. Healy's writing style would be offensive as I got further into the book. Ms. Healy's novel was so well written, my concerns were quickly dashed as I was drawn fully into the story. Engaging, different, and beautiful would be the choice words to sum up Ms. Healy's story.

I had enjoyed Hidden Figure book because the story had given the history on how black women were treated in the work place as well as in the community. Plus ,the book had given an insight on NASA.

I really enjoyed reading this. I love the author's writing style and the emotional response that it garnered from me. It is pretty historically accurate.
